Here are some of the initiatives:

- An exhibition on the types of waste produced by SILAB carried out in partnership with the recycling company Paprec. The objective was to remind employees of the sorting instructions and to answer their questions. Today, the company recycles 94% of the waste it produces.

- An activity about batteries. A quiz was offered to the staff on this topic. A call for recycling used batteries allowed to collect 14 kg of them over the week. All year, SILAB provides a sorting zone for its employees (batteries, neon lights, bulbs and printer cartridges).

- A suggestion board. What does the staff have to say? With this board, they were able to propose practices to be implemented within the company in order to improve waste management. Many interesting ideas were shared with an aim of continuous improvement.

Once again, the staff was very involved. Thanks to their commitment, new actions will allow to improve daily practices.
