Job description

SILAB develops, manufactures and markets patented natural active ingredients with proven efficacy and safety to the world's leading cosmetic and dermo-cosmetic companies to enhance the beauty of healthy skin (SILAB Cosmetics department) and to care for compromised skin (SILAB Softcare department).

 

The Sales Department is responsible for the technical and marketing promotion of SILAB's active ingredients and ensures the daily follow-up of the customer relationship, getting involved in its partners' projects and providing all the useful information about the company's products and know-how. Based on trust, on scientific expertise and on the availability of the team, commercial exchanges cover a wide range of missions.

 

Joining our American’s team, your main mission will be to manage the Sales and Logistics Administration team and supervise attributions and responsibilities. Under the supervision of our American Subsidiary General Manager, you will have several duties as:

- organization of the global objectives and tasks of SILAB’s SLA team; 

- performance analysis and commercial reporting based on KPIs; 

- supervision of activities at warehouse, linked to inbound, outbound, inventory, cost, quality and global performance; 

- participation in the good functioning of Sales Administration department by a daily strict coordination of customer's orders, in accordance with SILAB's sales police. .

 

As a team manager, you will be responsible for developing individual skills to enhance the company's performance. You will also define yearly objectives for the team and evaluate them following global objectives. 

 

On a daily basis, you will interact with several departments at the headquarters such as sales administration, finance, legal, quality based in France. 

 

Upon arrival, you will benefit from a solid training program provided by our American and French teams.

Profile

You have a successful experience in a similar position involving the management of logistics and transportation teams in a global company. You are methodical in the organization of your work while knowing how to adapt to the requirements of customers and manage priorities. Recognized as a true team leader, you are able to make strategic decisions and are solution-oriented. 

 

You are comfortable using the Office pack (especially Excel), and experience with ERP or CRM tools would be a plus. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and would like to join a company with strong values.

Location:

Full-time job, based in our office in East Brunswick (NJ). This position would require travels to the headquarter in France for trainings or events, and periodically to the warehouse, located in USA.
