Customer Project Leader - Cosmetics Ingredients H/F




Description de la mission

For its newly established subsidiary, SILAB NEA (North-East Asia) is seeking a customer project leader based in its office in Tokyo, to participate in its development on the market of natural active ingredients for the cosmetic and dermo-cosmetic industry. 


As a key contact for our customers, your main responsibilities will be to:

- provide direct or indirect customer support in Japan, through your expertise in the various technical, scientific, regulatory, marketing, and commercial aspects of our products. You will take charge of their various requests while integrating SILAB's sales good practices;

- seek the advice of our experts within the company when required by customer requests through your interface with customers projects leaders team at headquarters. In this capacity, you will be the real pivot in the flow of information between SILAB and customers;

- take an active part in meetings to draw up action plans and sales materials in line with objectives;

- animate the dynamics of our customers' projects through your follow-up actions, with the help of our IT tools such as CRM ;

- carry out or organize the translation and/or proofreading of marketing documents for customers; 

- prepare a regular digest of innovations and trends for head office;

- contribute, through your multidisciplinary vision, to the analysis of the activity of your markets, for which you will produce commercial reports; 

- handle any customer complaints.


You will participate in the reorganization, development, and growth of our business in Japan. Driven by a strong sense of customer service and communication, you will work in close collaboration with the Japan Account Manager, assigned to direct customer contacts in the territory, as well as the Sales Administration Manager. You will also be in regular connection with the customers projects leaders team at headquarters, your direct interface with the French experts.


Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will also have a functional reporting line with the headquarters’ Customer Projects Leaders Manager.


The position requires a double competency in Business and Science, we are looking for a profile with a bachelor’s, master’s or an engineering degree in biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, or similar. A previous experience in sales for BtoB cosmetic active ingredients, pharmacy, or food industry could be a plus. You are fluent in Japanese and are comfortable communicating in English in a professional context.
