Paul Eguia joins SILAB’s management board

Since September 1st, 2025, Paul Eguia has joined the company management board as general manager in charge of economic intelligence, alongside Brigitte Closs-Gonthier (chief executive officer), Jean-Philippe Cosson, Florence Giner-Meilhac, and Dominique Muller.

SILAB is an independent French company founded in 1984 by Jean Paufique. Since January 1st, 2023, the 100% family-owned company has become a limited company with a management board and a supervisory board. The members of the Paufique family are fully committed to the project, whether through the shareholders' meeting, the supervisory board, or by performing functions within the company.

Paul Eguia, grandson of the late Mr. Paufique, was previously manager of the natural raw materials platform at SILAB. His appointment by the supervisory board to the position of general manager in charge of economic intelligence since September 1st, 2025, marks an important step in the family continuity desired by the company's founder.

Brigitte Closs-Gonthier, chief executive officer and general manager in charge of R&D, Quality and Communication, comments: "Continuity remains a watchword when it comes to making strategic decisions and embodying our values. The fact that Paul Eguia is joining the management board is proof of this: this appointment perpetuates the link between shareholders and the company and strengthens the stability of our organization in the medium and long term."

Paul Eguia concludes: "For nearly 40 years, my grandfather built a solid company that is a reference in its market and upholds deeply rooted values. From the outset, he defended SILAB's independence with conviction and pride. Today, as a new member of the management board, I am honored to be part of continuing this wonderful adventure on the path to success and perpetuating SILAB's identity."
